What is New Jerusalem House of Prayer?

A church? A synagogue? A yeshiva? A place to pray?

A new category: An experiment! A fresh start! A community of Jews, Christians, messianics, mixed families, seekers and "none of the above" that honors the Jewish roots of the Christian faith—REALLY honors them! That seeks to understand and celebrate all of the biblical feasts—from Passover to Shavuot, from Yom Kippur to Rosh Hashanah. And the life events of Jesus and the early church. That seeks to understand the Torah, writings and prophets, and to fully grasp the Jewishness of Jesus and His followers.

So we are learning The Way of Rabbi Jesus, and studying afresh the Scriptures He and His followers studied, as well as what they understood, wrote, taught and did. This was NOT a new religion, but a call to heal the world that began all the way back with Abraham, and found fulfillment in the teachings and life of Jesus. This is an exciting journey we are on! Join us!

There are many QUESTIONS answered here to help understand our quest more fully. We invite you to participate: in person if you can, via Zoom (see below), or connect by email or social media. Please lift us up in prayer. DONATE to support and advance what we are doing, if you are able.

New Jerusalem is central to all the western suburbs of Chicago. Join us—as we create and grow together in this joy-filled house of prayer.
